2011 Education Week

This is just a reminder that our 2011 Education Week starts today. Please join us for an interactive week-long celebration recognizing inspiring educators, committed organizations and education programs and events that bring everyone, from our youngest of keiki to our most mature kūpuna, to the State Capitol to educate and engage with policymakers.

MONDAY, MARCH 14
University of Hawaii System wide Campuses: Culinary Arts; Sustainable, Carpentry, Tropical Conservation and Biology and Plant and Biotechnology Programs

Legendary Hawaiian musician Cyril Pahinui and his students from Connections, a Hilo public charter school, will be playing the steel guitars that they made under his instruction and guidance.
