UPDATES!

Just a follow up with the Mauka Highway out of the Waianae Coast.  The project has been put on the Oahu Regional Transportation Plan 2035.  The biggest problem we are facing is the cost issue that it will have on the state.  For us living on the coast, we need a 2^nd access and Rep. Awana is working to see this project take place sooner.

Rep. Awana will also be hosting an end of the Session Community Meeting May 7, 2011 at 9am at Kawaihona Charter School.  At the meeting she will be discussing bills and resolutions from the 2011 session.  Also the Department of Health will be doing a community discussion regarding the dust along Farrington Hwy.  Everyone is invited.
